Release Log - LogiQR BETA-0.1.0

LogiQR BETA-0.1.0 is the first public release of LogiQR. This version introduces the desktop QR Code Studio, the public project website, and the first release channel for downloading and updating the app.

The goal of this first release is to provide a practical QR code tool that can create clean, customizable, and export ready QR codes for everyday use, print layouts, websites, business cards, WiFi access, and other common workflows.

What Is Included

QR Code Studio

LogiQR includes a desktop app for creating QR codes with live preview and direct export. The app is designed for users who want more control than a basic online generator, while still keeping the workflow simple. You can enter content, adjust the design, preview the result, test scan quality, and export the finished QR code from one interface.

Multiple QR Content Types

The first release supports common QR code use cases such as links, plain text, contact data, WiFi information, and other structured content. This makes the app useful for both private and professional projects.

Design Controls

LogiQR includes visual controls for QR code colors, styles, frames, presets, and logo embedding. These options make it possible to create QR codes that fit a brand or layout while still keeping scan quality in mind.

Logo Support

Logos can be added to the center of a QR code. The app keeps the logo aspect ratio intact and places it as an overlay after the QR code has been rendered. Transparent logos and logos with a background are supported. The logo system is built to keep the QR code readable and avoid damaging the underlying QR matrix.

Preview And Self Test

The app provides a live preview and a QR self test. This helps identify whether a QR code is likely to scan correctly before it is exported or used in print.

Export Formats

LogiQR can export QR codes for real use outside the app. The export pipeline is designed to keep the exported file visually consistent with the preview, including colors, logo placement, and styling.

Presets

The app includes preset support, so frequently used QR styles can be saved and reused. This is useful when creating multiple QR codes with a consistent look.

Update Check

LogiQR can check whether a newer version is available. Automatic updates are disabled by default, but the app can still notify users when an update is ready.

Open Source Credits

The settings area includes open source credits for important libraries and projects used by LogiQR.

Notes

This is the first public beta release. Some details may still change as feedback comes in, but the app is ready for initial public testing and normal QR code creation workflows.
